tlc630 0 Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 So, after dealing with physical media for decades, I'm trying to move forward and start streaming from a central repository. I'm evaluating different media servers and DLNA/Upnp clients. My audio library is on a Mac running 10.13 and I am currently testing serviio, jellyfin, and emby. I have clients on a iphone 5s and an android tablet. Each one, in my mind, has various bugs, defects, and/or drawbacks. Emby seems to have the strangest problem and I think it must be in the configuration - The audio tracks from any selected album in my library are delivered in reverse order with crazy timings. Also, in the case of classical albums the composer name is missing. This does not happen if I point the clients to the serviio or jellyfin server. Any ideas? Thanks, Tom
Luke 40105 Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 HI there, can you please provide a specific example? Were you playing with Dlna or an Emby app?
tlc630 0 Posted September 23, 2022 Author Posted September 23, 2022 Sorry, I don't. After not receiving any response I decided to go with a different server and I uninstall emby from my iMac.
