Live TV Transcoding filling up hard drive

Just went into my server to take a look at something and I saw an error about C:\ drive being full.   (My C:\ is just a 256 SSD with Windows and my transcoding folder)  Looked at the transcode folder and there was a single 200 GB .ts file.    Looking at the logs it was seemingly from streaming live TV (HD) over the internet to an emby client.

When I tested briefly, the .ts file was created while streaming, and then deleted when I stopped streaming, which is the behavior I would expect.

I understand sometimes things may "get stuck" or an abnormal client disconnect or something might orphan a file.   BUT...

Surely a .ts file should never be allowed to even get to 200 GB should it?   Shouldnt this break up the file into smaller bits the way it does when transcoding a video file?    Or can that not be done because it's a live stream?

Is there some way to protect against this from filling my HDD?

Hi, yes this is something we plan to improve on in future updates. Thanks.
