suddenly Emby lowers the playback bitrate

Hello,

Since 2 days, for every videos, on my samsung TV, quality was terrible. I restart Emby without success.

I use Emby since years without any problem. Don't think I update Emby recently, nor my system.

I checked with videofiles working flawless previously, and they all failed now.

I look at the status, and see Emby downgrading bitrate. Don't know why. I'm on fiber connection, and local network is quick.

I change playback quality from automatic to highest just to check, but no results.

I'm using Emby for Samsung SmartTV 1.1.09.

Attached are screenshots.

If anybody has a hint, thanks in advance

Edit : updated emby for Samsung tv at last version (1.3.4), same problem

Hi.  What does "no results" mean?  What happened when you did that?

Hi,

I put 4k-120mbs for local network bandwidth. But video is still very low quality (same as automatic).

The capture with Jaws is with 4k settings.

You made that change in the Samsung app?

No, on emby server (in playback menu). Never change anything is the Samsung app.

Please check the settings in the Samsung app.

Ok, seems that. "Home network quality" in the TV app is set to blank. Which is strange, because you cannot select nothing.

I put it back on "Auto", and Emby seems perfect again ! 

Really don't know how it's happen, as I didn't even know there is settings also on app. I always change settings on server.
