Subtitle not shoing up

So I created a folder placed a mkv file there....and placed the subtitle file in the same folder with the name:

name of file.eng.srt

but it just wont show up in the subtitle menu. The name of subtitle file is same as movie file any help will be appreciated

Hi there, did you run a library scan after adding the subtitle file?

Make sure the name of the .srt file is the same as the media file with only .en.srt at the end.

Hello thanks everybody for replying IDK i was doing something wrong, after repeating the steps from scratch following the WIKI everthing works fine now, much appreciated the help, thank you for making this dope program
