Backgroud:  I had an issue the other day where I could not connect to my Emby server.  I could access the local port but not the remote port -- even if I was on the host machine.  I thought it was windows defender/firewall causing me issues at first so I changed the ports around and would click allow on the windows host when prompted.  None of that worked and I was already pretty busy so I didn't continue digging.  Long story short, somehow the certificate had gotten removed / lost --- C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\embyCert\<CERTNAME.p12>

Once the cert was replaced everything returned to normal.

 

I would love to see an error message or some kind of alert that would inform me of a missing certificate.
