Can Android Server use Android apps download files as a library?

If I have emby app on my Android, and have shows/movies downloaded locally on it, can I run Emby server, point to those downloads, and have another client play them?

Hi, in theory, yes you could. The biggest issue might be ensuring the server has permission to access the folder with the downloads.

Hi, did you try this?

Yes, I did get it working, however, I could only use the internal storage location for the downloads, as the external location wasn't accessible by the server app.
