I cannot test the beta release but I hope it will fix this problem. embyserver__479.txt 120.76 kB · 0 downloads ffmpeg-transcode-f4bbc236-30de-4f82-9895-6156cb253f96_1__479.txt 28.9 kB · 0 downloads embyserver__478.txt 706.56 kB · 0 downloads ffmpeg-transcode-a9e3976b-11d2-4d1e-a235-5311270ec0a3_1__478.txt 43.28 kB · 0 downloads Hi, yes this should be resolved in the upcoming 4.8 server release.
Quadrubo 8
Also had this exact error, can confirm the beta build fixes this for now.
Touz604 11
Well upon the discovery of the vulnerability, I decided to spin up a Beta instance of Emby, version 4.8.0.37. I tried transcoding a movie and HW transcoding failed. It only works with 1 subtitles, out of 4. When selecting the other ones, it crashes, even when selecting no subtitles. I tried a different movie and for this one, all subtitles made playback crash, except when selecting no subtitles. Here are some logs of the crashed playback and working playback of the same file, on the same Emby server version. ffmpeg-transcode-48487de0-a28e-4c65-99ac-eaf48c18e8e0_1_working.txt embyserver_working.txt ffmpeg-transcode-5a858691-f286-48dd-a253-d4320e334d0a_1_crash.txt embyserver_crash.txt

Touz604 11
I tested 2 movies on 4.8.0.46 and they both seem to work. Thank you so much!
