HUGO1963 6
Hello Could someone in the forum, give me an opinion please, on what equipment would be more advisable to use to install an EMBY server that supports 80 users simultaneously, with movies at 720 p resolution, with bitrate between 1 or 2 Mbps.? I had thought of using the QNAP, model TS 253D-4G. Regards

The TVS-h1288X or TVS-h1688X are very good and fast. Handles multiple transcoding well, downside is they are expensive but they can handle a large array of disks too. I've been looking at upgrading my Synology, as Synology seemed to have lost their way on the hardware front. These models came out late 2020, so I am going to hold off for a refresh model for these now.... Plenty of videos on You Tube describing and demoing transcoding (though they talk about Plex in that respect). HUGO1963 6
Thanks I was checking the specs, they are very robust and fast, but they are also expensive. It's too much for my budget Regards
