Stop using your consoles for things they were never intended for.  Media playback on the PS5 is garbage.  Seriously, buy a firestick.

Some apps are garbage on different platforms. I for one prefer Netflix on PS5, and having a actual Emby app there would be great. 

It's not likely to happen though. So same place my PS5 is I have a pc to watch however I want. If an Emby app would come to Playstation if it was good, it'd be another option. That's all.
