RaptorCentauri 49 Posted July 16, 2022 Share Posted July 16, 2022 I've been thinking about an idea I think would be a cool feature to have. I'd like to see a coming soon feature for emby. Essentially I would have the media all set to go on the server, but I would be able to make it unplayable to users until a certain date. Maybe I only want new media to appear once a week, and I only want to unlock 5 movies at a time. Thinking about it more, the ideal would just be to have a flag/checkbox on the library side hat simply enables or disables a movie for playback (but still shows it in library). The "unlocking" could be handled by a scheduler or something. Maybe a plugin? The media stubs idea seems like a possible temp solution, but I'm not sure it would work long term.
