This is a well known (and ignored) issue. Since HLS fMP4 was introduced,  using MPV player, remuxing (if audio is no supported) is broken.

Not that I am aware of but you have a few errors but overall are getting images from fanArt per your log.

It's direct streaming. It only works with direct play. directstream and remuxing is broken.

You gen direct play only if all the tracks are AC3, if any of them is not supported, in the supported ones we have direct streaming and in the unsupported ones remux.

direct stream is not direct playing, streams are not altered but are repackaged using HLS.

In short, the MPV player has not been usable for quite some time.
