I get the same error message.

my setup: Synology NAS with emby server 4.7.2.0 (docker). TVHeadend server on Synology NAS (docker). TVHeadend plugin in emby.

My tvheadend server works without problems with kodi.

But it looks like TVH is returning 401 unauthorized errors so you may have to configure TVH authentication to allow it.

I just installed the tvheadend plugin. Then I entered the username and password of my tvheadend user in the plugin (this user has no admin rights). All channels get recognized, but I get this error.

I think you need to configure a certain authentication type in the tvh software.
