The title says it all. The module for my integration system will not allow me to have a password on Kodi or it can't control it. As near as I can tell, KNG requires a password to be set. Is there a way I can bypass this requirement so both work?

Thanks!

Hi, I suppose you could give your emby user name a blank password.

I'm working on them adding support for it in their app, but I have a feeling I'm on my own.

That would work, Luke? I ask because it isn't asking for my Emby password, ENG is asking me to set my Kodi password to "kodi"

I'm not so sure about that. I would think the only password it prompts you for is for your emby server, but @quickmic can confirm.

I never tried without password, will check.

Even password is mandatory (will remove it in next version), you could try following setting: Emby server ->  users -> password -> Local Network Access -> "Don't require a password on the local network".

This setting is respected by KNG and should work without password too.

You mean the password for Kodi webserver? KNG doesn't need a password, but I think Kodi (requires it).

I checked, you can disable "require authentication" in Kodi.
