ellisd4 62 Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 I am in the process of converting some of my MKV files to play properly on Apple TV. I tried out the conversion tool and it works great and the quality is great, but the subtitles embedded in the MKV file are lost during conversion. Is there a way to keep those? Application version: 4.7.1.0 MacOS Not sure which log to provide.
Luke 39629 Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 HI there, can you please provide an example? thanks.
ellisd4 62 Posted June 6, 2022 Author Posted June 6, 2022 Sure thing. Attached are the two NFO files. The MKV is a BluRay rip. I also noticed the 7.1 track is missing from audio, but that's ok. I've also attached a screenshot of the conversion settings. Noticed there is no option there for subtitles. Thanks! Frozen II (4K).nfo Frozen II (4K) - custom.nfo

Luke 39629 Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 @ellisdustin this goes by the emby user subtitle options of the user creating the conversion, so you'll want to check their subtitle language preferences. In a future update we'll add subtitle options directly into the conversion dialog which will allow for more control. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
