Any chance of having this plugin as a trial? I would like to try it out before purchasing it.

Posted

It has the standard 14-day free trial.

Note, that this is only the MBC interface.  Upcoming is included for free in the server interface.

For me it says 'The trial period for this feature has expired' and I've never installed it before. I thought maybe it was a free trial while it was in beta and now that its final it's no longer available.

Exactly where does it say that?

Trial periods start as soon as you install on any particular machine.

Plugins > Catalog > MB Classic > Upcoming TV > under where it says install

I don't recall installing it. I don't even know what it looks like.

I see that as well.

Actually I see all "Premium" plug-ins state that.

Okay, ignore that and install it and see what happens.

There may just be a problem in that display.

I can't install it unless I go to paypal and pay.

No, that's not correct.  You can install any plug-in without registering it.

@@ebr all "Premium" plugins in Classic and Theater only have "Register now this PayPal".

Server "Premium" plugins have "Install" button and "Register now this PayPal".

Yeah I didn't notice that part. So I installed it. Thanks for the help.

Only issue is it doesn't display anything besides yesterday. I am guessing it must be a bug.

Posted

No, there is no such known bug.  What do you see in the server upcoming section?

In the server/web client I have tons of stuff coming up.

I couldn't make this up. :D

I installed MBC in another computer pointing to the same server and it shows the right data in the plugin. I am about to uninstall and reinstall.

Okay. Before uninstalling I decided to check my girlfriend profile and all the shows are there in plugin and not on my profile.

Okay I found the problem. The shows goes away if I select 'Hide Empty Folders' under Settings > View Options > Indicators

Confused face. I don't get the connection. Maybe you can elaborate a bit.

OK. Great. Thanks for this wonderful plugin. It gets the job done. Worth the few bucks.

A beta that should fix this went up earlier today.  Please confirm if you get it and it is no longer a problem.

Wow. Bug got reported yesterday afternoon and already got patched. Only in Mediabrowser world. Nowhere else. :D

Thanks @@ebr for your prompt service sir. I confirm that it is working on my setup. With or without 'Hide empty folders' selected.

Excellent.  Thanks.  I'll promote it to release.

@@ebr the bug is back. This time it removes the whole "upcoming tv" section.

I hope you were trying to implement my request to make it optional and things went south :D . At least I would have some hope.

Also when I watch certain things MBC doesn't always update the show for example to watched in MBC or server. (Let me know if you need me to create a separate post for this issue). I just brought it up just so you know.

One issue to a thread please.

Also, I'm not sure exactly what "bug is back".  More than likely, you are seeing something different so please show exactly what you did, what happened and provide a log.  Thx.
