Did u try specifying the port that Emby Server is using? Mine is http://192.168.1.2:8096

I guess you can try http://11.1.1.7:8096

Also you may need to add an entry in your Qnap firewall to allow connection from local lan

Thank for your reply, but it is indeed port 8096, and lan, with no firewall.

Can you download it again from our website and install on top of your existing version? Thanks.

You can access it locally on lan? but not via an ip address externally?  Is ip address external a static ip address or a dynamic one?

You access local lan of your qnap server via web browser? but cant access the emby server.

Did you click start on the emby server app? did you try clicking open when it has started? did you check the box to ignore certificate errors, and/or ignore that in security counselor (if its relevant)?

I have the TS-453A running version 5.0.0.1986 of qnap os. I have the 4.8.0.0 Beta of the Emby app installed. I access my qnap on local lan via http://192.168.1.2:8080 and the emby server at http://192.168.1.2:8096

Yes, all above I have done, also I do not want to access it externally, only on LAN. I have all default ports, I can access my QNAP on LAN no problems on port 8080, but EMBY port 8096 connection refused.

Installed emby-server-qnap_4.8.0.0_x86_64.qpkg .... same.

I think the issue is the server is crashing on this QNAP model. Is any emby server log file generated under

/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/programdata/logs

?
