Hello I just put a new 4 k movie on my server and did the scan and it always worked before but this time it isn't showing up on emby. I restarted emby server and truenas server then I redid the library scan and still nothing.

Anyone have this issue before and fixed it please let me know? thank you

Hard to tell what happened without a log.

Do you allow Emby to save .nfo files with your media? It's possible it has been recognized as something else.

Can you check the movies folder on the filesystem for the contents of the nfo if present.

Yes, this would be the best guess.  And if you write nfo files this would be the easiest place to check otherwise we would need the server log and the name of the media added.

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

What log would you need?

The embyserver log covering the time frame you added the media.

And what is the name of the 4K movie that you added and yet not displaying?

No scans or realtime monitoring seen in the log.

But I would question this cache location.

That's my cache/subs folder.

Did you set the server cache folder location to something that is part of your media library?

It has been awhile ago, I think I did but not sure really

I would try blanking that out to set it back to the default location.
