Ok, now I remember why I disabled it - the skip functionality breaks entirely with MPV turned on. It switches to standard stop/start FF/REW. So this is broken in multiple ways? In the near future we'll be doing a whole new video OSD for both the native and mpv players, finally unifying them and making them the same, and we'll make sure these options work with both players.
