hgewald
Hello, something weird... My fotos (all .jpg) do not show on my Samsung TV anymore (latest Tizen version installed). I can see the folders and when I open a folder I see all pictures. When I then want to see the pictures (slideshow) the screen goes black and nothing happens anymore. Same procdeure works fine with the Android app (on mobile) and the web version (on PC). Emby runs on latest server (4.6.7). The folder is setup for home videos and fotos. Any thoughts what might be wrong? H.
SamES
Which version of the Samsung client are you using (store version, or the USB version)? It's working for me on the current USB release, but the playback images appear to be very low quality. Some of the folder thumbnails are upside-down, but the image thumbs are the right way up when the folder is opened. Quality in the browser is fine, but the orientation of the folder thumbs is also an issue in the web browser.

A Samsung-TV-UE55JU6050. Start Samsung app on your TV From the home screen in the upper right corner there should be a search icon, user icon, and the time. Click "OK" / select on your user icon. Top line right under App settings you should see the version

Luke
@FrostByte are you able to reproduce?
FrostByte
No, the slideshow works good for me version 1.2.6 and server 4.7.0.35 Navigate to Home videos and photos library, folders, open folder and then either click on a photo or click Play All. Both ways work fine for me.
hgewald
Same works for me. And when I click on a photo to see it in large the screen turns black and nothing happens. As if it loads the data for eternity... When I go back I see the collection again. If I chose another picture or folder the same happens. Screen goes blank... hgewald
Well, the photos show correctly on all clients (web, Android, Amazon Fire). Also on the Tizen client, the photos are displayed correctly in the overview. Only when I switch to slideshow mode the system does only show a blank screen.... So I do not see what the refresh of the meta data could do here. However, i will try this and report back.
SamES
It's OK, I can see what the issue is. It seems to only affect this older model TV
