GrimReaper 4141 Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 4.6.7.0 If from any item Detail view an actor is selected, backdrop of selected item is shown on Actor page; selecting See All on either Movies or Shows to list all and subsequent Back to Actor page causes background to remain single-color and item backdrop is not reloaded. Same behaviour observed on 4.7+ beta. 1
Happy2Play 9441 Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Pretty sure it has always been this way. Minus a static person backdrop you end up with theme/no backdrop as click back/refresh loses previous "withBackdrop" inherited item backdrop.

Well, maybe it should "remember" where it came from - or just place a random backdrop from any item person starrs in, same as AndroidTV app does it. Plain grey background is unappealing. Yeah, but that's different scenario, as it is again inheriting backdrop from previous item/single level (Movie B), same as it is inheriting it when you originally selected actor (Movie A). Which I reckon is actually a case that also occurs from See All, inheriting no backdrop, as All Movies/Shows page has none. Hence suggestion for random if "remembering" 2 levels prior (as it is what is needed) ain't feasible. 1
Luke 40079 Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 I think this one is probably unlikely to change.
