horstepipe 377 Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Hello as Emby fully relies on id3tags for music and audiobooks, wouldn't it make sense to add some basic support to edit them directly in Emby? Side question: Anybody has  tip for a linux cli tag editior (debian)?

I'm fine with being given the option to create metadata files than can live along side those files. Those can be ignored or nuked without lasting consequences. Once you modify a media file, there is no "undo". Though I've never had much success with it, many people swear by beets to tag, rename, and organize their media.   2 1

In fact, I would be very cautious even letting anything (even able of) doing automatic tag changes to my files near my music library. Edited March 28, 2022 by DonMacaroni 1
