Mon Emby a disparu après la mise à jour SYNO

Bonjour,

Emby tournait sur mon SYNO 920+ depuis plus d'un an et demi. J'ai Emby Première.

Là, je mets à jour DSM, en passant au 7, je réinstalle Emby, d'abord automatiquement, puis manuellement, mais rien n'y fait. Je peux réinstaller Emby, mais je n'ai plus ni mes médiathèque, ni mes utilisateurs, etc

Je dois tout réinstaller, où il y a une manip à faire ?

Déjà, je n'ai pas fait la maj d'emby, avant de passer la maj de DSM... Je n'avais pas eu le temps au cours des trois derniers mois de gérer ça... et quand j'ai fait, j'ai juste regarder sur le forum en fr pour voir "probleme DSM 7" et rien n'est sorti, j'y suis allée direct... Je n'aurais pas dû, visiblement...

Je présume, qu'il ne me reste plus qu'à recréer mes médiathèques, refaire mes collections, recréer les comptes (ça ne sera pas le plus long) et tout le monde à perdu ses vu/pas vu... le pied... J'adore les maj...

C'est toujours un tel gain de temps...

Juste pour ma culture personnelle (je suis une grave buse informatique, en fait), il ne reste aucun espoir, même avec une manoeuvre encore plus complexe que celle évoquée ?

Non... les précédentes maj, je n'avais pas eu besoin de sauvegardes, donc pas fait... Pas grave, je vais recréer mes 40 collections... Merci pour les réponses

Did you perform the migration after upgrading to DSM 7 as Luke pointed to?

I have not

 - update Emby Server to current release of 4.6.3.
- restart Emby Server and verify your on the latest release version.
- uninstall Emby

I have update DSM in first time... I presume, it's finish...

For Emby to work in DSM 7 after having it running on DSM 6 you have to do the migration per those instructions.
If you don't do the migration you'll essentially have a new setup which will require reconfiguring everything.

The problem in a nut shell is that the location for DSM 6 programs is now different in DSM 7.  So all your old DSM 6 info is still there but at a different location.
The migration process is basically just copying this information over, resetting permissions and then installing the program again.
But this needs to be done in a specific way so you will want to follow the directions in that thread in the first message.

Merci Carlo, j'ai tout simplement "refait le travail" et recréé mes médiathèques et mes comptes... (c'est un petit serveur familial, pour mes enfants, parents, frère et soeurs, donc pas un gros truc...) Merci pour le soutien !!
