The Android app is in public beta and is available over on the old forum.

Just thought I shoud report some of the issues I have noticed. Happy for others to add and discuss.

I am running the android client (Beta 13 at the moment) on a Mk802 IIIs. Playback performs well using MX player (external).

Couple of issues so far include;

Resume doesn't work when video was started on a different client. The android client can see that there is resume data, but when you try to resume it starts from the beginning of the video.

Collection covers do not display.

Anyone else using this app?

Sorry, lionman. I just noticed this topic.

Collection covers do show as far as I know. if you click the cog on the homescreen and in the settings click "preferred home collection image" you can select whether the collections use folder, thumb or backdrop. I suspect it's currently set to an image type you don't have.

Resume is working on my internal copy. The next public beta isn't far away.

I'd prefer not to, most people won't see what your seeing in that screen unless they go on a mass adding spree.

You're right about the mass adding though...

Your decision, I respect that.

I personally think that a movie collection isn't a movie so it should show only the movie...

But again, it will only occur when creating the boxsets I presume...
