ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 I installed the emby server in a Raspberry Pi 2 and I see that some TV Series cannot be identify. I tried this one for example: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/74795-orzowei Using the Identify option, it finds it but when I press Ok for replacing metadata it continues to think but never ending as shown in the attached screenshot. Do you mind checking it, please?
Luke 38502 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 HI, it's probably just taking a long time. I would just be patient and allow it to finish. You can close the dialog and allow it to keep going in the background.
ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) Hi Luke, I already tried waiting without succeed in updating metadata. Moreover, I tried adding the tmdbid in the folder's name but only for the serie named Orzowei it doesn't work. Can you try in your machine to see if you're able to identify it, please? Luke 38502 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Quote but only for the serie named Orzowei it doesn't work. Why do you think it didn't work? What did you do after that?
ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) Because I already waited for 24 hours before writing here Edited January 9, 2022 by ilCosmico Added info

ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 Nothing. I don't know how to fix this and I write here, that's all.
Luke 38502 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Since you renamed the folder, try running a library scan so that Emby Server will see the changes.
ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 I ran a library scan and nothing changed. Here you can download the server log: https://we.tl/t-rZVqbKEbPb Can you try to create the same folder, with the same name and check if it works in your machine, please?

I am not seeing anything that stands out as your log clearly shows the series being identified. 2022-01-09 08:48:58.503 Info App: Setting provider id's to item 27716-Orzowei, il figlio della savana: {"Tmdb":"74795","Imdb":"tt0075023","Tvdb":"255736"} 2022-01-09 08:48:58.559 Info HttpClient: GET https://www.thetvdb.com/api/B89CE93890E9419B/series/255736/all/it.zip
ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 This is the screenshot of Series, as you can see the cover is not shown. Please share a screenshot of your dashboard, I'd like to see if the cover is shown or not there.

If you select edit images on the series can you apply the correct poster?
ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) No images in the folder, I'd like Emby get it from TMDB automatically. This is the bug I'm trying to report here Attached the screenshot showing what I see if I try to edit images. Can you see the cover picture in your dashboard? Happy2Play 9060 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Just now, ilCosmico said: No images in the folder, I'd like Emby get it from TMDB automatically. This is the bug I'm trying to report here Can you see the cover picture in your dashboard? But it is specific to your setup as I already show it works fine per my test. Nothing stands out to me but maybe dev will see something. But urls in your log shos it know the image url but does not appear to get/save. ilCosmico 1 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 Ok, so I will wait an answer from the dev. Thanks for your effort Happy2Play!
Solution ilCosmico 1 Posted January 10, 2022 Author Solution Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) I totally removed the library and re-added it and now it works like a charm! Edited January 10, 2022 by ilCosmico Added screenshot
