Emby Mac Client Crashes on playback after OS update

It happens every time I try to playback a video from my NAS. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app from the Mac App Store. The crash reports went to Apple, I think.

And when exactly is this, after launching the app, or when trying to play something?

Any video I try crashes the Mac player. 4K movies seem to play ok, SD and HD mostly crash on open.

same problem. Migrated from plex to avoid all these bugs...and here we are. 4 months since this error reported.
