PRAGMA 7
This would be useful for various reasons, but one specific one from a UX standpoint would be to see Server Information (Host, Port, and such) for each server. As it currently stands, it is not possible to see information of a server or where it's connecting to, only the Server Name. In my honest opinion instead of showing the server name, show the Host:port and underneath that show the server name. From a security standpoint knowing where you are connecting to is more important then an arbitrary server name that can be set (spoofed) by anyone (not that there's a real threat of that). For example: (show port if the host is not to a domain, perhaps show `https://` if the server is capable of SSL/TLS connections) PROS: Cannot be spoofed or faked for some kind of reason (though that kind of remote threat doesn't exist, but alas) You know exactly where you're connecting to, not to an arbitrary alias Multiple servers with the same or similar Server Names will no longer be able to be confused with one another When you have old server instances in your Server List, it is easier to distinguish which ones are the old ones Ability to see which servers are SSL/TLS secured CONS: ???
