ramansgdeep 3 Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Whenever the 'cover' aspect ratio is selected, the subtitles move along with the video frame as if hardcoded onto the video, but these subtitles aren't hardcoded, they are from a separate srt file. I've tested it on multiple video files too. This behaviour happens around 80% of the time (tested on same file). Sometimes it is fixed by force-restarting the app, but mostly it's not. The emby server version is 4.6.4.0. The app version is 3.2.12. Also, the subtitle drop shadow doesn't match the preview in settings (except uniform) and the background doesn't work.

Solution Luke 39686 Posted October 12, 2021 Solution Posted October 12, 2021 Hi, this will be resolved in Emby for Android 3.2.20+. Thanks. 1
ramansgdeep 3 Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Hey, First of all, thank you for the fix! Really appreciate it. And, sorry for asking if it is obvious, but should I make a separate post for subtitle appearance not following the defined settings in the android app? Also, should I make a post in the web app section for the background settings too? Much thanks! 1
