Tizen Double subtitles

This same problem i am experiencing now on 1.1.04 and on some of the older onces, this is on Samsung 2019 model q65R

Emby is playing both Embedded(not forced not default ) and external srt in same time...

What happens if you turn off subtitles?

Then try selecting just external sub?

Then turn them off again?

Then select the embedded sub?

If i turn off subs completely, these subs with black box still appear normally, if i select external they appear along with those with black box,when i choose external i get both subs showing again one normal and these with black box... 

Either way these with black box subs are shown on samsung tv... 

I testes same file on pc and on emby web player and it plays normally withouts these subs so its something within samsung...  @SamES

Can you check in the TV settings that you have captions turned off, possibly under accessibility settings?

I tried disabling subtitles in acessibility but still doesnt solve emby problem...

Thanks for confirming.  What's interesting is that we don't render subs with the black box like that now.

 

I will see if I can reproduce this somehow...
