iPad remote controling EMBY on fire TV not working

First and foremost EMBY is a great product... I love it.

 

I'm using my iPad as a remote to control EMBY on my fireTV to play music. This saves me having to turn on my projector and pulling down my screen.

What I do is: 

1. Cast to "fireTV"
2. Select - Remote control
3. Select - music album
4. and play

 

but I can't Stop or Pause it or select another song in the album, am I missing something? Any help would be most appreciated
