EmbyGio 8
Emby's interface on Apple TV Date, and no evolution of design conference to Android box. Will there be a version 2.0 on Apple TV? Because this box also deserves a more modern evolution like the Team Plex I use Emby since a year because I can find it intuitive now with the evolutions of Plex, Squire and infuse applications, I find it less attractive. Your team is Great but think of the apple user who would like their favorite app to modernize on their box THANKS 2

unisoft 239
The Apple TV has to follow Apple's UI design guidelines and QA rules. I think you mean functionality inside the app to match what the Android version has? The Apple TV shows so much promise, its 85% there. Frame rate match, de-interlacing properly and a few other annoyances need addressing though. 1
EmbyGio 8
My wish it is that Emby changes skin, especially the home page to appear in background The fanart of the media available like the android version .The modern layout of plex marks the transition with the old plex. I think Emby should follow the same road while respecting the Apple protocol is not the first time that this idea is mentioned it's just to give my impression, I have even tried to refine with Emby paid option but it remains imprecise, it's not terrible

I agree the theme backgrounds would be nice, as I prefer Media Center blue for example, and some backdrops to work in some areas of the Apple Tv app as other apps do. Everything else, I like in the Apple TV app - The home screen seems to have the correct sizes for images too (I wish the ROKU Emby app would be similar in that respect). What is the difference at this point? Edit: Oh wait - the Apple TV ones are larger, correct?

Also the fact that the Apple TV application (and all others) reads the cover art embedded (jpg 500x500 96dpi) or uses folder.jpg for Audiobooks on Latest Audiobooks on home screen whereas the released Roku app makes a right mess up of using backdrop.jpg but gets it right for Music! ebr 14340
At this point in time, the Apple TV app is the odd man out on the sizes of those home screen tiles. All the other apps show them a bit smaller and that's what most of our users have preferred.

The Apple TV actually gets the home screen correct for the vertical theme. It looks proportional. Top marks to whoever coded it. Libraries should be of adequate size to show users the dominance of the focus on the page. If I changed to the vertical view on the LG App, it looks stupid hence why I stick to horizontal theme on that else I would use vertical. On the MOBILE apps, I understand smaller library images as that makes sense. So, next question, how about user being able to set the size then in Emby Settings? coolkidsdoit 3
+1 for parity between the tvOS and iOS at least. iOS is much nicer, but surely the user base on Apple devices is using Emby in their living room more than their <12" screen.
