Metadata : Adding new personn

Hello Emby experts.

I again, need your help

Emby's new version (4.6.4) works well on my Syno with DSM 7, without one feature missing, and not working..

My collection is mainly classical music files, and I'm trying to use the "modifying metadatas" interface to add new contributors to an album or a track. See the print-screen below (sorry in french).

Unefortunatly it's not possible to add new topics (in addition to compositor, it would be usefull to add new kind of contributors : Singer, Musician, etc..). That my request for a new feature

I wonder If someone from the Emby team or other user is interested in this.

Also, at the moment, when I try to add someone, I don't get any message, but the new item is not registered. Is there any spécific configuration to make this working ?
I can modify the other fields without any problem.

Also, do you have an idea why I can't update it for the moment. I can edit and save a new people. But It seems not to be stored. Emby as the read/write rigths on the folder, so I don't understand what is missing..

Hello Luke,

as seen in the pictures below, i can edit and save a new person ie : Etienne PAVARD for example. (picture 1)

but after saving changes and reloading the page, this new person doesn't appear. (picture 2)

I couldn't find it in the metadata manager neither.

Did you click save on the main editing screen after doing that? What are you trying to add a person to?

Hello Luke, sorry for the delay,

below an example. I'm trying to add one or several persons to an audio track or an audio album. But once I save the editing screen. No data appears in the screen.

@Lukefrom a Music stand point there is no such thing as a Person, correct?  

But from my tests you can not add a person to a song or album.

Correct, not at this time. The UI is exposing the function but it shouldn't be, so we'll need to correct that.
