    .avi files can't be played on any device

    sneakysandals posted a topic in QNAP

    I can't play .avi files on any device on my network. I have confirmed it is a file type problem because every other video in the particular series I try to watch that is not a .avi plays fine, also when I converted a few test files they played straight away. When I try to play a .avi on any device it just attempts to load for ages and is unable to play the file at all. I would like a fix to this instead of converting every single .avi file on my NAS. Any help is much appreciated
