For a TV series I set the "Emby > Edit Images > Logo, Thumb, Banner." Images all shortly clear later. Where do I save the images so they stay. In what folder? Thank you for your help Russ

Ich habe bei mir auch mal ein paar Filme in einen Sammelordner geschmissen, und Emby kommt damit klar. Dass die Filme nach erfolgreichem Scan wieder entfernt werden, ist seltsam. Hast du vielleicht bei der Bibliothek die Echtzeit-Überwachung an? Vielleicht war die Verbindung kurz weg und die Filme wurden deshalb entfernt? Würde ich generell ausmachen, da Emby bei größeren Änderungen sehr träge werden kann.

Hallo Habe meinen Emby Server auf meiner Synology installiert. Dort habe ich meine Familie als Benutzer angelegt. Auch einen Account für mich. So das der Admin Account nur zum administrieren bleibt. Was mir auf gefallen ist das ich nur in einem Profil die Möglichkeit habe eine Pin zu hinterlegen. Bei den anderen Profilen geht das nicht und es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit eine Pin ein zugeben was ja eigentlich unter Profil gemacht wird. Was kann ich da noch machen um das richtig zu stellen? Hi, I guess it's because there's no way to get to this context menu for photos, right? We'll have to look into implementing long press context menu support.

Following what FireTV and AndroidTV did is far quicker ? - just allocate numbers to set navigation buttons - 0=OK, 1=Left, 2=Right,3=Up,4=Down, Hamburger=Change to next 5 digits, 5=OK,6=Left etc. Nobody is going to see you quickly use the remote to go Left,Left,Up,Down for example (1134). For it's intended purpose, this is more than sufficient imo.

Emby DOES follow symbolic links - it doesn't know any different. As has been said above, to create the symlink, you need to use the OS.

I am not certain where to post this, but using the web app when the overlay is visible and if using the emby windows app the colors look like this: not solid and noisy When the overlay is gone the colors are solid and lessy noisy these might not be the best pictures to showcase it why is this happening? i have it on most of my video files that i notice it If i use vlc media player or the default windows 11, i get the noisy and not solid black look i think it is in the video file it self and that it supposed to look like this, but why is the web interface removing it? i kind of prefer the web interface because the noise can bother me quite a bit when playing media back

I have a clue....I added an IPTV source and that plays fine. I checked the HD homerun with it's app on an iPhone, and that plays. How does EMBY get the HD Homerun feed? That seems to be the problem. Thanks

Agree - I've never seen it either on the AndroidTV Home screen integration list... If it has been developed, then it doesn't appear to work ...
