Hi I have a tvs-871 qnap emby is installed on it version 4.7.11.0 my Emby Server say version 4.8.7.0 is Available for TVS-871 can anyone help find this version

Bonjour, je vais tenter de vous expliquer exactement mon problème. L'application Emby a été configurée pour écouter des émissions, films, spectacles, etc... en français. Présentement, lorsque je regarde des émissions qui ont été traduit en français, il n'y a pas de son mais j'ai l'image. Sauf si je regarde une émission ou un film produit en France. Mais si j'ai une possibilité de changer la langue pour mettre le tout en anglais, alors j'ai le son. Comme je vous disais dans mon premier message, j'ai de 2 types de décodeur pour écouter la télévision IP. Deux Formuler Pro et un Sword. Quand je regarde la télévision IP avec ces deux types de décodeur je n'ai pas ce problème. Le problème que j'ai décrit plus haut est uniquement quand je regarde EMBY en passant par le décodeur SWORD. Je ne rencontre pas ce problème avec le décodeur FORMULER PRO. Mon fournisseur de l'application EMBY croit que ce serait un problème de zonage entre l'Europe et l'Amérique. Avec les décodeurs FORMULER PRO, j'ai installé l'application AUDIO OPTIMIZER pour être en mesure de pouvoir écouter EMBY. J'aimerais savoir s'il existe une application AUDIO qui m'aiderai pour écouter EMBY mais sur le décodeur SWORD. Je dois vous dire que même mon fournisseur de télévision IP comprend pas pourquoi cela ne fonctionne pas bien. Merci pour votre aide. Hello, I will try to explain exactly my problem. The Emby application has been configured to listen to programs, movies, shows, etc... in French. Currently, when I watch programs that have been translated into French, there is no sound but I have the image. Unless I watch a show or a film produced in France. But if I have a possibility to change the language to put everything in English, then I have the sound. As I said in my first message, I have 2 types of decoder to listen to IP television. Two Formuler Pro and a Sword. When I watch IP TV with these two types of decoder I do not have this problem. The problem I described above is only when I watch EMBY through the SWORD decoder. I don’t have this problem with the FORMULER PRO decoder. My EMBY app provider believes this would be a zoning issue between Europe and America. With the FORMULER PRO decoders, I installed the AUDIO OPTIMIZER application to be able to listen to EMBY. I would like to know if there is an AUDIO application that will help me to listen to EMBY but on the SWORD decoder. Hey @radeonare we by any chance any closer to being able to identify when someone uploads a trailer into backdrops and stopping it from uploading to the network? Or maybe even a way we can vote down certain backdrops if they don't adhere to the standard of a backdrop? Everytime I run the plugin now for a new movie I have to remove the trailer that someone uploaded from backdrops. But then this also (if I'm not mistaken) tells the system that a backdrop has already been uploaded and downloaded for that movie so if someone like myself uploads the proper backdrop it will already have one in it's place - the trailer. It would be great if there was a way to clean this up or at least stop trailers from being uploaded if that is what someone wants to do.

Hallo alle zusammen, ich bin dabei meine Musik auf Emby zu verwalten. Vorab möchte ich aber auch erwähnen das es gut und problemlos funktioniert und ich zufrieden bin. Allerdings gibt es ein paar Punkte die ich nicht nachvollziehen kann und paar Tipps brauche. Alle meine Musikdaten sind sauber getaggt und gepflegt mit Winamp. Ich habe in Emby mehrere Library´s erstellt für Alben, für Sampler usw. Folgendes ist mir aufgefallen z.B. bei der Dream Dance Collection. Alle Dream Dance Alben sind getaggt mit Dream Dance Vol. XX als Album und VA als Artist. Bei anderen Sampler wie Bravo etc. genauso. Komischerweise, denke das liegt an MusicBrainz, sammeln sich dann mehrere VA´s als Artist an (siehe Bild 1). Auch werden manche DreamDance zweimal dargestellt, denke wegen CD1 und CD2. Auch hier sind alle Alben gleich getaggt mit Folder Dream Dance Vol.XX und Files mit 1-01 Artist und Title 2-02 usw. 2-01, 2-02 usw. alle in einem Ordner für jede Volume (Bild2). Wie kann ich das verhindern? Meine zweites Anliegen wären die Top 100 Charts.9 Ich aktualisiere einmal im Monat die aktuellen Charts, Ich habe aber das Gefühl, wenn ich den Ordner lösche (auf HDD und in Emby den Bibliothekeintrag) das diese nie richtig von Emby gelöscht wird. Wenn ich dann die neuen Charts reinkopiere und dann neu Scanne ist wieder die alte bibliothek da (Vermute weil der Ordner gleich benannt ist Beispiel: "German Top 100 Charts". Somit findet er auch keine Dateien wenn ich diese spielen möchte. Wie kann ich das anders machen? Vielen Dank für eure Ideen und Hilfen. LG Micha

I just had to do an unexpected reinstallation of my server and when I setup the library locations and it scanned the files, most of my shows and movies do not have images. Some have the primary image but nothing else, even the cast & crew images are not being loaded. If I look at the Metadata for each show, it has the IMDb Id but nothing for MovieDb, TheTVDB or Zap2It. Even if I find the show at those sites and add in their ID's manually, nothing gets added after refresh Metadata using "replace all metadata" and select the "replace existing images" option. Two examples of this is Yellowstone where I only get the "Primary" image and another is 1883 (the Yellowstone spin-off) where I don't get any images. I am running version 4.8.7.0 and it says it is up to date. Also, prior to my reinstallation, all of these images were there. Can anyone help me fix this issue? Thanks, Chuck

Hi John Bought your plugins back in 2012, so quite some time ago They are currently showing as in trial mode, my Emby supporter email and my PayPal email haven't changed over the years. There's been quite a few rebuilds as you can imagine, what do I need to do to get things running again? I still have the original email confirmations from when I purchased, and you did reissue me some new keys a year or so after the fact when I replaced my server.

I’ve seen this in issue on web, iOS, and Roku so I expect it is server related. When going to the playlist library or any library’s playlist tab and clicking sort options (three horizontal lines), the list do not include “date added.” This option was available in previous server builds, so I assume this is a bug. There is a sort option for “release date,” which I would suggest is unnecessary for playlists. Perhaps “release date” was scheduled for removal and “date added” was removed by mistake? I’m ok if both are available, but date added is absolutely critical for daily use. image from iOS (sort by “Date Added” is missing.

Is this about NAS-to-NAS connections or are you trying to automate updating the whitelist in Emby for the remote dynamic IP? If it's for Emby then I think the call to update the value might be available in the API under ConfigurationService. You'd have to work out the details of monitoring DDNS for the IP change and the call to change it in Emby. An alternative would be a point-to-point tunnel since you would only be able to use Emby from the one location.

Hi, I have been trying to create an emby server from which I will view livetv. I have got this setup and working but when I connect to nordvpn on my emby I can no longer access my live tv streams as it seems DNS cannot be resolved for the m3u links. I have mapped an IP to a domain name in etc/hosts and this will allow me to access a couple of streams but still has issues accessing most. I was wondering if I create a new VM in proxmox to act as a vpn gateway if this would be a sensible thing to do and stop my issues with DNS? Thanks, for any help and advice. I am piecing this together from little knowledge.

As far as I can determine, there is no way to change the actual font size on ATV. You can enable 'Hover Text' in accessibility which will display the selected item's label at the top of the screen in a large font, a bit like a subtitle, but it doesn't actually change any in-app text. This would be the case for all ATV apps, not just Emby.

So I have just heard of the extended version of The Office series done by Peacock. So What I did was created a new folder for this series. Now it looks like this: The Office (2001) The Office (2005) The Office (2005) Extended I can't make Emby to recognize this Extended version in any way.. What Plex initially did was it merged `The Office (2005)` and `The Office (2005) Extended` together and you could use `choose version` to decided which you want to play.. However it offered a more convenient way to recognize the content and it allowed me to do the `Split it` so the end result is that users can choose from 2 separate series directly from the library: This way extended version is treated/tracked as a separate series from the original one. How to achieve same result with Emby please? Thanks!
