Another Update for Emby for Apple TV

Version 1.2.09 of the Apple TV app is rolling out now with some more fixes and enhancements:

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed remote play/pause
  • Fixed resuming a movie
  • Fixed delete button not working on detail views
  • Fixed collection view with items other than movies showing an error
  • Fixed item unwatched counts not displaying with some server platforms (an empty green circle was shown)
  • Removed budget from sorting in the movie library as it's no longer supported

New Features / Updates:

  • Image quality has been increased across the app, particularly for Apple TV 4K users
  • Live TV Channels are now available in search
  • App will start up faster
  • Updated app icon
  • Added Dolby+ icon to items that have Dolby+ audio tracks
  • Replaced the default image used when a person image does not exist which matches the Apple theme
  • Changed the background color when Apple TV is set to dark appearance to align with Apple TV colors
  • Improved the user experience when sorting / filtering a large movie library. An activity icon will now display after 1 second if the sorting / filtering action is still in progress

Your app should prompt you to update automatically, or you can just force-restart it to get it right away.
