If you're not sure what version you're currently running, then we also suggest updating this way.

Improved Multi-Version Support

If you have multiple versions of a video, now you can choose which one you'd like to play prior to playback.

Actually I was able to get it working after trying a few times. It is now showing the updated server version (3.2.60.0) so I am all set now.

I can't believe that this release still isn't retracted from release. It has so many issues.

Don't update to this version guys! It will give you headaches. It seems it has not been tested at all.

Is 3.2.60 mono dependent or is it now using the dotnet framework?

It appears to be universal which implies mono dependent.

I think that this depends on your platform and use.

I don't have any major problems.

Blew away all my configuration.  All of it.  Got most set back up (libraries, etc.), but still looking for settings (where to download movie associated media, set user images) and plugins (NPVR).  Note to self: Do not upgrade in the future unless Emby stops working or there is a specific new feature I really, really, really want.

Emby server will not update.  My setup has Emby server shortcut in the Win10 startup folder.  This always worked before.  Access to Emby was lost while I was away for Christmas.  Bummer.

I downloaded setup and installed manually.  Emby 3.2.60 is loading now on windows startup.  Everything seems to be working.  Thanks for the help.

Plex is really not as good. But I'm stuck using it again until 3.2.60 performance and kinks are resolved. (sigh)

Hi,

My issue is that if I connect from the Remote (WAN) access URL on a device NOT on my network, I can click on any user and enter on that user's account without being asked for the password.

Is that a bug or am I doing something wrong?

UPDATE: There is no issue, I thought that when you add an existing Emby user (that has a registered account on the website) it will ask for a password. BUT this a local server account and you need to assign a password to it!

CONFUSING - this should be explained better

Support configurable subtitle download location

Could anyone tell me where I can find this configurable subtitle download location?

Much thanks in advance!

I can't get this to work still. To be clear, I am:

  • downloading the latest server version from the website
  • turning off the existing instance of the server that is running
  • running the file from the first bullet as an admin

The window comes up saying it is downloading, then it is gone and nothing ever happens. Am I doing something wrong?

Are you still having an issue?
