A new version has been released to the app store. Revamped Chromecast Support Chromecast support has been completely rewritten and is now much more stable, connects faster, and automatically reconnects just as you would expect.

Here's what's new: More AC-3 Passthrough, More FLAC We've always supported ac-3 pass-through with Chromcast, but now we've updated our transcoding to also use it as well. This means if you have a DTS audio track for example, now we'll convert it to AC-3 which will still allow you to enjoy the surround sound. All New Video Transcoding The receiver now enjoys the same transcoding used by the Chrome browser. Not only will you see faster video start times, but also faster seeking, and reduced cpu utilization on your server. In many cases now we'll just stream copy the original video while only transcodng the audio.

The app now follows the home screen settings you setup in user settings on the web or mobile apps. You cannot change these settings from this app yet so just use the web interface to set these how you wish. User Icon -> Home Screen
New Theme Setting
The app now follows the Apple TV Light/Dark/Automatic theme settings. The internal setting has been removed.
Emby for Apple TV 1.7.0 Released - OSD Info Tab, Next Episode Playback
This is the latest release of Emby for Apple TV. It's a small maintenance release, containing new OSD features and improvements as well as a fix to existing identified issues.
