I installed emby on the CPU of j3455 and could not start.

Hello my motherboard is asrock j3455 - itx.

My system is dsm-6.2-23739， model DS918+.

Install emby using https://synology.emby.media/?package_repository=360efc6e-de72-4073-b603-2bfbd7001586 or https://synology.emby.media/.

The downloaded emby version is 4.0.2.0-1.

These two methods cannot be started after installation.

After installing, open emby, after jumping to the page, the website cannot be opened, and nas automatically restarts.

After nas restarts, the emby package is disabled. Click Enable and the prompt will not open.

So how do I install emby on asrock j3455 - itx and open it?

Because I can't open it after installing emby, the prompt fails to start.

There is a lot of information missing from the logs and some of the files are corrupt, so there's something more fundamental going on here.

 

Is I/O to the volume you are installing packages to reliable and stable?

 

I can see that the installer abruptly stopped without completing, so I'm not surprised it won't start.

 

What loader are you using?

The way the packages are built and signed, would make this highly unlikely / impossible.

 

The installer wouldn't run at all.

 

There were files missing from Emby's var/logs directory and other files filled with nulls, which would suggest a filesystem problem.

 

Have you double checked firmware versions and h/w configuration compatibility with your chosen boot loader?

probably not helpful, i (after using docker with no luck transcoding) used the emby synology repo and it works absolute fine, i also have a ds918+ (8GB ram, 256GB read cache and 25TB storage), try running the SMART on your hard drives and/or reinstall DSM?

i have a bigger problem is that i even can't download the emby server.... the percent of downloading is still 0%..

my cpu is also j3455, and i have added the source center which URL in Package Center is
