Crashes are beyond my level of understanding but it needs analysis of your log files. Sometimes there is no ‘reason’, often it’s a plugin misbehaving or a large number of database changes all at once. As for accessing your instance outside the home, this is going to depend on a lot of different things and how comfortable you are with respect to security etc. and the upkeep of it all. Questions for you will be, what will you be using to access it outside of your home? iOS apps, android apps or just a web browser? What kind of internet router do you have at home? Is it one supplied by your ISP or something you’ve purchased yourself? Personally I would enable HTTPS and also obtain a signed certificate (free version are available). HTTP will work but then you’re open to other people snooping on your traffic and obtaining your account passwords. You'll also need to harden all your passwords and change the settings so they aren’t displayed. I would change the HTTPS port, if you’re lucky you may be able to use the built in emby port mapper which will configure your internet router for you. If not you will need to do this yourself. You also need to check to make sure your internet provider hasn’t put you behind a NAT…it’s get complicated lol But have a thanks about the questions I’ve posed first.

Could you please provide the dll of the new version for macOS using net 6 as you did the last time if it’s not too much of a hassle? after testing the previous version all works fine -

Quick question: is there any way to show which version is available with multi-version movies? It shows both movies, and despite the naming, I have no idea which one is which.

Guide Channels Missing USA-OTA36801 Columbus, GA
sa2000 replied to martincom's topic in Emby Provided Guide Data
There is inconsistency in available channel info for 36801 and 36855 For Example info for USA 36855 here https://www.channelmaster.com/pages/tv-antenna-map-five-points-al-36855 lists these as available for 9.x and 47.x 9.10 WCGZ-LD1 ABC 47.2 WCGZ-LD2 TELEMUND 47.3 WCGZ-LD3 APSN 47.4 WCGZ-LD4 OUTLAW and for USA 36801 zip code here https://www.channelmaster.com/pages/tv-antenna-map-opelika-al-36801 , it lists 9.1 to 9.7 but not 9.10 and no 47.x channels Normally I give gracenote evidence of a channel being available for a zip code from the channelmaster.com data As it stands, if I refer to gracenote, it would need to be adding 9.10 and 47.x channels to the USA-OTA36855 lineup rather than USA-OTA36801 -

Apotropaic, Luke, Lessaj, Neminem, js28194, and everyone else appreciate the help. It seems to be up and running now. Do anyone know what could have caused it to crash?

Apotropaic, that worked.

Okay. All dll files deleted.

Also your server is not running, you will need to find the emby server executable and run it. Either go to your start menu and search for emby and select it (make sure it’s the emby server and not the emby window client app if you have it installed). Alternatively you’ll need to use windows explorer to find your install path and double click on it there. You’ll know it’s launched as you’ll see the emby icon in your task icon area and if you run the netstat command again. If it isn’t launching then that’s what we’ll need investigate next.

I am looking into the issue - but you should be able to circumvent the problem. In Live TV Settings, Channels tab Do not map 9.1 to any guide data For tuner channel 9.10, map it to guide data for USA-OTA36801 to guide channel 9.1 (I see that the lineup for zip code 36855 - USA-OTA36855 does not list any of the 9.x and 47.x channels - but USA-OTA36801 has 9.1 to 9.6. I will ask gracenote to look into adding 9.10 - assuming they do have WCGZ-LD1 in their database) -
Your can just delete all DLL files from C:\Users\jason\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins

No Trailers on Samsung TV app - taking ages for release still on 2.2.5
Luke replied to Robnaeyaert's topic in Samsung Smart TV
I'm not aware of any region specific delay so once they launch it will be for everywhere. I don't know how long it will take. It has been in this state for several weeks now. Sometimes it's 2-3 weeks, other times a couple of months. -

Ahhh got it thanks @FrostByte. If it was a server to replace my Windows 11 machine with the added benefit of superior audio processing, I might consider it, but it feels like just another device I'd need to manage. I get that might get around the very slow Tizen app issues we have as we're trying to avoid the continuous sideload issue. Thanks for the advice. -
Please try that and confirm. Thanks.
