    Para aquellos que tuvieron acceso a mi servidor: Todavía tienes la aplicación Emby en tus televisores Samsung. Pero esta semana quise dar acceso a mi servidor a cuatro nuevos amigos a través de sus televisores Samsung. Y no encuentran disponible la aplicación Emby. Es la primera vez en dos años que veo que la aplicación Emby no aparece en un televisor Samsung.

  5. Hi, you don’t actually need to restart the app. As soon as the network requests fail, then the app will automatically switch from lan to wan or vice versa. Does that help?

  7. I’m not so sure. I think the answer is what I said earlier. The image downloads were already queued before you changed the option to 0 backdrops.

  9. Hi I have all my images/metadata links etc sorted out for my movie collection on 1 x computer linking to my NAS. Can I link another Emby Server on a different computer in my home to the same NAS and copy/paste the images/metadata from the original without having to manually do all the missing images/IMDB links again on the second machine ???

  11. I have been an Emby user for many, many years. But I am now stumped. I have Emby Server running on a Win11 PC. An Amazon Firestick is used to access the media files. Three weeks ago it worked fine. This week I cannot access the PC. The FStick can access my sons PC (5 miles away) via Internet. My Samsung Tablet (2018) can still access server. I am being plagued by Emby on the Fstick insisting on using "Connect" If I try manually entering IP address I just get in a loop - server not found. I never used "Connect" to set up the system. I have cleared FStick Cache etc - no cure. Reinstalled the App - no change. I've checked all the Server settings. Private Network, ensured Port 80 is added. Even added SMB1 ( an old Synology needed this ). All to no avail. One thing that has thrown me is that I originally logged in with a User Name {FirstName_Surname}. "Connect" insists on an email address and then forces me use a Pin - that does nothing to get access. Just loops - enter IP address, Server not found, Connect - rinse and repeat. I am at a loss which bit of kit is failing - PC or FStick. Any suggestions ? Jim.

    Delete Album Genre

    The genres of an album are a combination of all of the genres of the songs on the album. So if you just make sure the genres on the songs are correct, then the album genres will take care of themselves.

    But there were no changes from Samsung regarding Emby? I've never seen the app unavailable on a Samsung TV. Or perhaps there's an update happening. Just like what happened with LG TVs a month ago.

    @TONYCINEXINis it possible that the network sharing is consuming bandwidth, and therefore you need to lower the quality setting in the Emby app to reduce the bitrate?
  17. Nope, just the new. The Internal disk is still connected but it's not "shared"

    I would check the TV's date, region and timezone settings to make sure they are configured correctly. Also if their network is using a VPN then try turning it off.
