Running Emby Server on 2 x different Macs in my home but to the same NAS...Metadata import ???

Hi I have all my images/metadata links etc sorted out for my movie collection on 1 x computer linking to my NAS.

 

Can I link another Emby Server on a different computer in my home to the same NAS and copy/paste the images/metadata from the original without having to manually do all the missing images/IMDB links again on the second machine ???

Hi, do you store your images in media folders? Do you have nfo files next to your videos?

No I don't have info files next to the videos...

I use the Emby Server 'identify' and 'edit images' function in the drop downs to get the correct IMDB link and add images if they don't automatically update from the 'identify' function..

Guessing all is saved in the Emby App/folder ???

If so I'd like to access that folder and copy/paste it into the other Emby Server app I have on another computer so I can have both versions matched without having to manually do it all again.

OK there isn’t really a way to do that. If you had images and nfo metadata files inside your media folders then that would be the best way to share across servers. Emby library setup has options to save these kinds of files.
