Since 4.8 is normal, the problem may appear in the plug-in. I asked chagpt to help me write a python script to capture the title and era of unrecognized episodes and movies to provide a tmdb connection list, and then manually selected or modified most of them. The title is not standardized because it also needs to be pt, so the name can't be changed. It can only be further in emby. Modify, I think it's best for someone to make it into a plug-in compatible with emby, so that when scanning the whole library, those that are not recognized will not be scanned again in vain. The most important thing is that if the updated version starts from scratch in the future, it will be too troublesome. Many movies and episodes are manually modified. I hope the backup can be migrated to the new version in the future.

Strange request. My current EMBY server seems to be having hiccups when doing H265 compression. Because of a bunch of other issues, I am creating a new emby server, which (unlike current machine ) will ONLY be used as a browser going to my large screen HDMI output. There isn't any information in the logs about this. There's only the scheduled task & a select box in the "Playback" option in the settings (below the "home" link in the main admin nav. Screenshots attached are the only mention of this option that i can find, and I've just never seen the "Skip Intro" button..

If there is a cleaner option, like a currently supported plugin, I have not found it.. and I've been searching for one for many years already.. I finally relented & attempted to roll my own solution, and with ChatGPT's help, I was able to cobble together a Python script to automatically add new episodes weekly as they are posted by my IPTV provider, and I have automated Web Streams plugin to pull new movies every few months.. I'd be happy to post it if anyone is interested.

Hello, I can't play trailers in the Windows application, even though they are visible via Firefox.(using the same personal server, both internally and externally). When I connect from outside my network (via a private DNS, on another PC, at my workplace), I can then see the trailers in the Windows application. I successfully installed 4.10.0.24 over a modified and working version of 4.9.5.0.02. So far it seems pretty good. Will give it a day of testing before the victory shout. I did take a snapshot of /Volume1/Emby to be sure I could salvage my data and go back to current release if needed. (You cannot go back to stable once you've installed a beta without saving a copy of your libraries.) Still FAILING to use hardware transcoding. I'll open a separate ticket on that. If anyone else id having this problem please post as well.

Since it's impossible to edit my post (for whatever reason) I can write here that I found another limitation of the workaround. Infuse always seems to request the first subtitle track it finds to be burned in, regardless of which subtitle is chosen, if any. Therefore the user has no choice which subtitle they want to have, or even if they want to see one.
