guyvdw001 0 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Hello, I can't play trailers in the Windows application, even though they are visible via Firefox.(using the same personal server, both internally and externally). When I connect from outside my network (via a private DNS, on another PC, at my workplace), I can then see the trailers in the Windows application. This isn't a critical issue, but I don't understand why. Best regards from Belgium.

visproduction 372 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Of interest: Aug 12 2026 info about Chrome browsers failing to playback Youtube videos. This appears to match the issue above where Firefox plays correctly. https://chromestory.com/2026/08/youtube-playback-error-embedded-chrome/
Luke 43050 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
guyvdw001 0 Posted August 15 Author Posted August 15 Hello, thanks a lot for your answer. In the browsers (Chrome or Firefox) the trailers are very good. In the app only, the trailers are just ignored. Strange, isn't it ? I should mention that I have an Emby Premiere subscription.
Mahinepua 132 Posted August 16 Posted August 16 are you using the latest version? it was only fixed in newer versions this year. softworkz is also working on a trailer update for a future release.
