Subtitles are usually included in any .mkv file or on puchased blu-ray, DVD discs. Software like MKVCleaver - Suggest you use v0801 instead of the latest version (v.0802 tends to set off virus check alarms) can be used to recover these files and save them as .srt or convert them, as needed. There are various sites online that have a forum type group collection of subtitles. I don't want to post any links to these sites. They are often heavily layered with ads. You should be cautious checking such sites. Sounds like you already know how to find individual subtitles per episode. The only tip would be to look inside the .mkv file, if you have those.

I tested Longman's scenario on my end with the latest update and it is tagging individual episodes as well. I don't know if that is what Longman is seeing.

If so, on top of my head, it would give you a tag on all series that any user has seen any episode of. For example: I have seen Scrubs s04e05 my wife has seen Outlander s01e02-06 my kid Blue s02e18 This will then tag (or put in collection) the main series of Scrubs, Outlander and Bluey. Episodes should not get tagged. To sum it up it would be something like “someone on the server has watched something from these series”. Do you experience anything else? Not at home right now but I could give it a try tomorrow

I'm chiming in because I am experiencing this exact same issue on the iOS app, and honestly, it's becoming incredibly frustrating. Just like the original poster, whenever I rewind or pause/play, the subtitles duplicate and stack on top of each other (tripling or quadrupling). This happens with both embedded subs and external SRT files. It makes watching anything with subtitles completely unbearable on my iPhone I noticed this bug was originally reported back in August of last year, acknowledged in September, and seemingly left unresolved since then. As a paying Emby Premiere subscriber, I'm really not impressed by this kind of lingering issue. Subtitles are a basic, essential feature not a niche edge-case and bugs that break them this severely shouldn't be sitting around for months without a hotfix Can we please get a concrete status update on this? When can we actually expect a patch for the iOS app to address the subtitle stacking/duplication bug? I can provide logs if needed, but i would like to see actual bugfix on this

There is an issue with this show. Because they are mixed between its own show and part of Jury Duty so they download as Season 1 for Company Retreat but emby expects it as Season 2 of Jury Duty (which really doesnt make sense) so you have to rename them all from S01 to S02 for them to show up.

There is already a plugin that allows custom links. The only change to emby would be to show links on the UI...

Not sure what you mean by switched to native, are you referring to the player? Also this has been an issue since I got a Apple TV so I don't think this has to do with TVos 26.4, I was on TVos 26.2 at the time of these screen shots.

Give this one a spin; Release Type grouping is based on user-added Album tags, Decade grouping is automatic based on Album Year from metadata. P.S. Note that I have no music on Emby (nor anywhere else, for that matter), all tests were done on a miniscule test library, bugs and quirks are not only expected but very probable. albums_groupby.js

Rather than just thinking about it, I tried to see if I could actually make it for real - image below is rough webpage made by fetching an Artist's albums from the Emby API and grouping them according to user-defined "release type" tags. The styling is just placeholder and I guess I'll be finessing the Sections once I try some more Artists, but at least this proves the grouping can be done. The goal though is to have this Discography view (and a Timeline/Decades view) integrated into Emby - that could be the difficult part???

Firefox Compatibility: Added a critical notice regarding Firefox compatibility above the seasonal toggles. To maintain a pure-CSS approach and avoid JavaScript or index file edits, certain container statements must be commented out until a native CSS workaround is identified. BROWSER COMPATIBILITY NOTE: Firefox does not currently support CSS Style Container Queries (@container style). To enable seasonal themes for Firefox, you must manually comment out the @container wrapper line and its corresponding closing bracket within the seasonal CSS section. So, unless there's some big issue I find, or request; I'm pretty happy with the state of the theme. the @container() compatibility issue I think will resolve itself in time.
