This is predominantly a bug fix release.

* Added user channel setting to group all channels into a single internet Channels view
* Support itunes episode file naming
* Add off option to subtitles remote control menu
* Use ac3 transcoding for MS Edge
* Updated photo slideshow now has auto-advance functions and closes with the back button

 

Issues Resolved

 

* Fix web client image scaling
* Restart recording timers on system wake
* Fix pt-br with tvdb
* Update wdtv live dlna profile
* Music album image fixes

 

3.0.5860 Beta

 

This beta finally merges forward all of the database changes we've been working on within the dev branch. Over time this is going to lead to much faster server and Emby app performance, although it's going to take a bit of time to adjust different areas to take advantage of it.

 

Please note - upon restarting with the update you will be greeted with a forced update process, and this could take a little while. Please leave your feedback and report your issues in the community.

My Emby is stuck with Clean databases at 0.0%, Download missing subtitiles & Scan media library are stuck at failed and don't work when pressing run, and nothing's loading on the home page.

Is there a way to restart the upgrade process?

How do I fix this???

So far so good, forced update went fine, took a few minutes was nothing major.

If you read the post, Luke talks about a forced database update that makes breaking changes; not referring to the server forcing itself to update without your consent.

Well, I think you're onto something there. I checked, and after the latest upgrade, my Metadata Path in Advanced Settings was empty. I've now reset this, so I'll wait to see what happens. If I refresh the actor in the web UI, the image and details do appear.
