Hi everyone

I'm using emby for 3 years now and i'm getting a most powerful server now.

I'm using proxmox and i need to set up my new emby server.

LXC support is present on proxmox and i really like to use it, but i'm asking myself if it is a good idea.

Have you tried emby in LXC with gpu passtrough ?

Let me know :)

Hi, thank you for showing me how to use the search bar.

I saw this thread already but I'm looking for different things like real Gpu passthrough

This thread is also mentionning Intel-media driver which i can't use cause i'm running my server with AMD architecture.

Maybe I should have been a little bit more specific but your answer is quite contemptuous.

Hi, hardware acceleration in a container is not officially supported at this time.

It can work but may require setup on your part such as driver installations and other container configuration.

Has it changed since 2019 ?

It's not officially supported but you can generally find required setup info from user reports here in the community. If it's detected then it should work the same as the native package.
