Add Grouping and Filters for Length/Duration (Emby Theater, Windows Desktop)

In addtion to things like Unwatched, Collections, Genres, Years, etc. I would find it nifty if there was a grouping for Length/Duration (Length might make the most sense, but I'm open to other words), perhaps by 15 minute increments?  And adding in this sort of thing other places (eg, search filters, etc., whenever those types of things get implemented) would be useful.

The use case for this is that I often only have a certain amount of time to watch something, and so I'll search (in my old, custom media setup) via time groupings for what I could watch within the time I have available. So I'm interested in any ways to achieve that easily within Emby Theater.

Thanks for considering my request!

:)

PS-If this is something you might like to see implemented, be sure to "Like" this top/first post (as well as any subsequent posts in this thread that highlight particular aspects of what you are interested in) -- "Liking" the top/first post helps the Devs to know how much interest there is in a given Feature Request.

That might be sufficient. It might be helpful if there could be some visual indicators (ie, numbers) along one side, or interspersed, just so one can easily tell approximately the time difference (otherwise you don't know without going into a given item whether you've crossed your cutoff or not).

We can certainly start with runtime sorting and if that still isn't quite getting at the convenience factor I'm looking for I can post again. :)

Having thought a little further, I'd probably prefer to have some sort of functionality available via a Search, as I think (if I'm remembering correctly) that searches all libraries, which I'd prefer for what I'm aiming for. But if we're doing this via Search I'd need a way to just return all results, ordered by Length (because entering any keywords would unnecessarily limit my results). So I guess that brings me back to having additional search filters below the list of letters/numbers....

Actually, what about this: In theory it should be trivial on the backend to search by Length, so what if we enable search operators for length (perhaps "length:nnn") and then just provide buttons below the letters/numbers with some default recommended times. These could be a full list (eg, 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 120, 135) which would add the appropriate operator and number (eg, if the pretty version is 1:30, clicking it would add "length:90" to the search box), or more sparsely populated and then as the user does repeated searches with various times it could display a few common ones in conjunction with the times the user searches for most frequently).

I'm just throwing ideas around... I hope it's helpful.
