MUSIC: Problem with 'play all' button

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I use the 'folder view' to explore and play my music collection, sortered by artist and albums. In some album folders  I have a sub-folder called 'scan' which contains some .jpg files. When I try to use the 'play all' button in one of this album folders, it never starts to play at all. I've to select track by track to hear the album. Since I'd prefer not to erase my artwork collection, any solution should be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi, This is a bit confusing trying to follow this. So you go into a scan folder which contains no music albums and play all which causes the endless spinner?

Yes this is reproducible.  But I guess rogue folders could do this as Emby does not know what to do with this rogue scan folder with images (so a empty folder to the library).

Not exactly. I go into a folder which contains music (flac) and a folder called 'scan' which contains .jpg files for example (the endless spinner is allways caused when I use the 'play all' button in a folder which contais a sub-folder).

Exactly, I can reproduce the album track by track, but it's a bit tireful. If I try to use the 'play all' button, I get the endless spinner.

Thanks again for your help and best regards.
