Is "refresh Guide" the same as "update program guide data"

just a quick question.

In live tv settings there's a button to "update program guide data". Is this the same function as "refresh guide" in planned task menu? Or are there any differences?

Does it refresh both, m3u and epg?

Seems to be a not optimal translation to German as you can think these tasks are different.

so okay they both contain the word "guide" so I guess the guide is definitely being refreshed. But will it also refresh the m3u? If not, how to refresh those?

Hi, Yes, they are the same thing and you can kick off that job in either place.
