Watched movies: if I tick played on one, they all turn to watched

I have noticed at first that when adding movies, they were not showing in the "latest" view.

Turned out that they were all showing as "viewed", although I did not watch any of them (my filter was set to not show watched movies).

I tested by untickign one of them, and they all turned to not watched.

If I double click on a movie, and tick it viewed, all the movies in latest now show as viewed.

Is it just me?

Hi, that is strange.

Are all your movies in a Movies library setup with type "Movies"?

Can you show us a picture of your movie library?

I can see this happening in the movies view. If I open some movies (not all), and mark it watched, it will turn a large group of movies into watched (the 19 most recent movies).

If I do that on older movies, that I have added some time ago, does not trigger the behaviour.

What are the tmdb/imdb IDs on these items?

Yea if you use the metadata editor, I think you'll see they have incorrect values, and possibly many with the same value.

Well spotted. Checked two movies and they both have the same...

I checked the movies.xml file in the folder for one of them,

<IMDB_ID> has the correct IMDB Id but emby does not seem to pull that in.

These other two are instead incorrect in the file
<TMDB>-2</TMDB>
<TMDB_ID>-2</TMDB_ID>

I use Media Center Master. I must have messed out with the fetchers, as it was not using TMDB (hence no values).

I fixed it, refreshed the metadata, all fixed now. Thanks for your help!
